YOUR ROLE:

The IT Asset Manager has an agnostic view across the IT assets of Company, the IT Asset Manager will ensure that software & hardware assets are inventoried and managed. The IT Asset Manager is responsible for the daily and long-term strategic management of software and technology-related hardware within the organization. This includes planning and monitoring of software license and hardware assets to ensure compliance and follow industry best practices – and cost-effective license allocations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Act as Lifecycle Owner of Software and Hardware Assets (day-to-day and strategic activities)
  • Software Licensing: lead and execute activities such as costs optimization, usage metrics, right sizing.
  • Hardware Assets: Management of hardware assets (datacenter and workplace related hardware) within the organization.
  • Support Vulnerability and Configuration Management Process: Assist in the configuration and vulnerability management process within the organization. Track and follow-up with technical teams on findings for underlying assets
  • Manage system and websites certificates and domains (except technical implementation).
  • Whenever required contact with vendors or suppliers.
  • Act as deputy of IT Service Manager (day-to-day tasks, like major incident handling or tickets escalations)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Required:
  • Microsoft licensing knowledge and experience (on-prem, Azure, Microsoft 365)
  • Experience with asset management systems (like LANSweeper, Flexera, SoftwareOne)
  • IT literate – Advanced user level:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
    • Experience with Data Visualization Tools (e.g., Microsoft PowerBI), including dataflows and reports creation.
Nice to have:
  • Experience with Ticketing System (we use ManageEngine, but your Jira or Service-Now experience is welcome)
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services, Oracle, SAP licensing
  • PowerPlatform user – e.g. PowerAutomate workflows creator
  • ITIL Foundation
