(Senior) Endpoint Engineer

We look for a technology specialist to join our engineering section (level 3) in Global Digital Workplace Services Team. The person at this position will lead and execute major changes for our end-user environment related to PCs, thin clients, smartphones and tablets. New team member will continue a strategy to modernize our endpoint environment – transform it to a Modern Cloud Driven Setup with Zero-Trust principles and Digital Experience Monitoring.

Your role:

  • Designing, implementing and optimizing our Modern Workplace Setup based on Windows 10 and 11, but also iOS and Android
  • Managing configuration baselines (Config Profiles, including OMA-URI)
  • Oversee and create advanced software distribution – classic format (EXE, MSI, BAT, PS1) and modern apps (MSIX) - including application updates
  • Planning and performing Operating System and layered software installations and upgrades
  • Diagnosing software problems and implement solutions to all end users
  • Ensure security vigilance, plan vulnerabilities remediation, work according to Zero-Trust principles
  • Bridging endpoint management from classic to cloud setup, support of existing classic infrastructure (DSM)
  • Active participation in hardware models standardization

What do you need:

  • At least two years of deep dive experience working with cloud configuration management tools like Microsoft Intune (including Autopilot)
  • Knowledge of on-premises configuration management tools, for example: Ivanti DSM (Desktop and Server Management), Microsoft SCCM MECM (System Center Configuration Manager), Symantec Altiris
  • Advanced Software Packaging experience
  • Scripting and automation skills: PowerShell and/or Graph
  • Awareness of Microsoft 365 services portfolio, for example Azure AD, Conditional Access and Azure PaaS wherever it may be required for Endpoint Engineering
  • Good communication skills (both written and oral) in English
  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or similar programs; or comparable qualifications/certifications with practical experience
